Working the Honeycomb to Draw & Sweeten Love or Other Conditions...

Momma Starr wanted me to share this work on the Old Style Conjure radio show but we didn't have enough time so I am posting a few different ways I was taught to do this work here for y'all pleasure. You'll find the original work on page 131 in the "Old Style Conjure: Working with the Bible" book in the Songs of Soloman section. The Songs of Soloman are very powerful prayers for sweetening work.

During the last radio show we talked about syrup, honey, and the different sweeteners you can use to draw love and sweeten yourself in order to meet the person that is right for you.

As y'all know I am a big fan of working with other sweeteners besides honey especially syrups and powdered sugar because that is the way I was taught. Even though I'm not crazy about honey jars I will work the honey in the best way I can to achieve TOTAL SUCCESS.  I was always taught you should never limit yourself especially when doing conjure work and I'm a big believer in that. Use what you have and make it work for you.  Like all things in old style conjure work there is a time and place for everything. Honeycomb is one of those special items that has its place in Conjure work.

Honeycomb is one of those power items that works like a double edged sword. I love honeycomb because not only does it draw and sweeten but it also locks down your work. Think about it. Honey comb draws what you need because it's sweet but also nails down your work because the comb is made out of wax. Wax will hold any prayers, roots, herbs or petitions you load into it. Beeswax will hold the work together just like it holds the honey which makes it strong.

The same goes for dirt dauber nest. When you find a dirt dauber nest try to collect it without breaking it apart because like honeycomb that little dirt dauber's nest will hold the power in your prayer petitions, conjure roots, special herbs, and ingredients. Each time you pray over the dirt dauber nest that you've loaded with special ingredients, it will make the power in your work grow stronger with a heavy hand. Your domination work will pack a punch. Of course you'll work this packet somewhat different from the honeycomb but you get the idea.

So now let's talk about the actual work. Take the honeycomb out of a honey jar and spread the comb out on a white plate. Place your personal petitions, photo of yourself, or photo of the target in the middle of the plate with your conjure herbs and roots, prayers, and special ingredients. Fold your prayers, bible verses, and ingredients around your work into a packet. Squeeze the honeycomb together around your love packet to lock it down.

Now you got a strong little conjure packet that you can work as is or incorporate as part of other work. You can place your love packet inside a red bowl full of sugar, herbs, and power roots. Another way to work this packet is to place it inside a jar with syrup and other ingredients. Whenever you need to heat up your work burn a tealight, stick candle, or vigil in the work. These are some of the first sweetening works I was taught by Momma Starr. It truly is old style conjure work that you can stick like honey in a photo packet to any sweet drawing work you need done whether for love, money, prosperity, or total success. Good luck in your sweetening work! Does Love Conjure Really Work?

Does Love Conjure or Love spells as some call them really work? I do think it is possible to be reunited with a lost love; but the key word here is Love. I mean would you really want to force someone to love you? You would have to continue to work on them the rest of your life just to hold on to them. That type of work is not healthy for yourself or the target. Attraction work would be much better to draw the right partner into your life. If there is already love between yourself and the target then I truely believe that in most situation with cleansing and repairing work that a couple can be brought back together.

Nothing happens in an instant and your relationship didn't go south over night. Things built up until there was nothing left. All of that baggage has to be removed; cut and cleared out of the way in order to find the true love you once had for each other. Thats a lot of work and most folks don't want to take the time; they want it NOW! So tthe answer to the question is YES love work can be successful; but it takes a lot of work. Love Songs Of Solomon

As I stated in the The Greatest Conjure Book Ever Written you cannot beat the Bible when you are doing conjure work. The chapter called Song of Solomon is filled with verses that can be applied to Love Conjure. I think that one of the problems now a day is that folks don’t know how to read the Bible. They just don’t have an understanding of the power this book holds. I’m not preaching; I’m trying to make folks understand that they have the means to be successful in all their works if they would just get a Bible and put the words to use. Don’t misunderstand me; I’m not talking about church or being a Christian. What I am saying is take the Bible and read it like you would any other book.

There are eight chapters in the Song of Solomon; each chapter has about 14 to 17 verses in it.

You don’t have to apply a whole chapter to your love work. You can pick the verses that you are drawn to. You would work with these verses just like you do the psalm in your work. The trick here is to find a verse or verses that deal with the love work you are doing. I am going to give a few examples and try to explain how they would be applied to a love spell or a come to me spell.

These are just examples; I show you how easy it can be to add the Bible to your conjure work.

 The first chapter and verse I picked are chapter 2 v 14.

O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance,

(This could be used in a conjure spell to bring someone to you, if you worked the spell in a way that it ways compelling and a come to me work.) let me hear thy voice;

 (You can work with this to make someone call you, not only to call you but to be sweet to you when they call) for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

The next one is Chapter 2 v 16, I picked this one because you are making a statement here. He belongs to you and you belong to him; this could be used to tie someone to you.

My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.

I would combine both of these verses together to draw someone too me and to nail them down so they would stay.

There are so many chapters and verses in the bible that can help us; in all of our conjure work if we just look for them. I hope I have helped you understand a little better on how to apply the verses in the Bible to your work.

Slow As Molasses

I am going to cut back on the information I share from now on and here is why. I am sick and tired of folks using my information and claiming it as something some dead person gave them. Everyone can't be dead! Just hearing that makes me laugh. So and So taught me to work with Molasses but there dead and gone now! I learned this or that from Uncle Tom but he’s passed on. How stupid do you think people are? My work is different than anything found on the internet “and no all my teachers ain’t dead”! Just the other day I heard someone talking about Molasses; they said “well some say that Molasses is used to slow folks down but I use it to sweeten with”; I’m the only person as far as I know who teaches about Molasses slowing folks down. So now this person who claims to be a Traditional rootworker is telling folks to use Molasses in their sweetening work. Go ahead and try it! See how slow your work gets, how slow your money starts coming in, how slow your love work becomes. It sucks to be dumb! Have you never heard the saying “SLOW AS MOLASSES”? Wonder why folks say that? How To Make A Lucky Hand

I thought I would share with you all how to make a lucky hand. Now I make these two ways either in a bag or in a packet. To me the packet is easier to carry. I use only red flannel for my lucky hands. If you want to color code them you can red for love, green for money, ect. We will make one for Money.

Now in the old days they would add a silver dime to these hands; but silver dimes are hard to come by now days so a regular dime will work just as good.

Trust me, I'm carrying this lucky hand and it works. Here's the instructions
Money Drawing Lucky Hand
Things Needed:
A small piece of red flannel
A dime
small piece of brown paper bag (torn NOT CUT WITH SISSORS)
Money drawing oil
3 beans
3 grains of rice
A Magnet
sm piece of Blue Flag
Pinch of Calamus
Personal items (hair, nail clippings, ect)
Lay out all your stuff and stay focused on your intent. Now write your name on the paper 9 times; once this is done write your desire on top of your name 9 times. Once the paper is ready fold it TOWARDS you, then turn it clockwise and fold it towards you again. Do this until you can't fold the paper any more.

Set the name paper in the center of the flannel; next add your personal items.Then the magnet, next the dime, then the other items.
Fold it up into a small packet and sew it closed with red thread. On the last stitch make 9 knots; on each knot as you pull it tight say MONEY. Now feed it money
drawing oil, while you are doing this talk to the packet and tell it what you need.Do this for 9 days.Then after the 9 days feed it once a week while talking to it. The best day to make and feed the packet is on a Thursday. Carry it with your money and DON'T ever let anyone else touch it.

Conjure Balls

Conjure balls are these funny little balls that can be made with wax, clay {like the one in the picture} or mud from a crawdad mound. Sometimes the little balls are not so funny after all; like the one you see in the photo's. Conjure balls can be made to draw prosperity, to draw love, for domination work and like the one in the picture the can be used to knock the hell out of someone.

There are times when folks go to far and need to sit the hell down. The ball in the photo is the type of ball I was taught to do just that. I want tell you how to make the ball in the picture because it is dangerous work and you could cross yourself up; but I want to explain the concept as it was explained to me many years ago.

The conjure ball really represents the head of the target. The crown of our head is very important. The work above was done for a client who had to be protected. The targets personal items are placed in the conjure ball along with a verse from the Bible, it is all burned to ash. All of this is mixed with the clay to make the targets head. Of course while the ball is being made you are very focused on the target and you are praying the whole time.

If you notice in the photo there are {4} square head pins in the ball nailing the person down. Right there in the center of the cross set up is a wonderful black candle, bringing justice and protetion. Remember a photo speaks a thousand words and when a seed is planted a strong tree will grow!

To Stop an Enemy

If you feel someone is burning candles against you; then you need to get a red stick candle and {3} nails. Using a hammer, nail the {3} nails into the candle; on each nail say” I wish my enemy would go away and leave me alone! Make them leave me alone in the name of the Trinity”.

Set the stick candle on a white plate. Mix a pinch of gun powered with some sugar and sprinkle it around the candle. Some ole folks say you can place burnt salt around the candle. They say the burnt salt will drive them away and take away their luck.

Burn your candle for {10} minutes; when the hand of the clock is going downward on Mondays, while praying your petition. Blow the candle out when you are done. You are blowing your enemy away from you. Once the candle is finished take it through as many crossroads as you can and leave at the one farthest from your home.

Laying Trick's

 Laying tricks is a big part of Hoodoo. You can lay a trick anywhere the person will walk or place the powder or oil on anything they will touch. You can even add it to the sprinkle water that you use to iron their clothes with. The heat from the iron will heat it up and as you pass the iron over the clothes you can pray to yourself what you want the outcome to be. When I was young in my early twenties I did ironing for other folks. I kept a magnet in my spray bottle to keep them coming back. When I boiled my water for the starch the main pot had a magnet, a few drops of syrup and a few bay leaves thrown in it. This kept my ironing folks coming back.   

You can place the oil on the bottom of their shoe's or place oil on their sox or under clothes. The trick is to name the person the trick is meant for and then make your prayer and petition. You don’t need a bunch of Hocus Pocus to be a successful worker. What folks need to do is get out and talk to ole folks. Folks are under the misconception that you will meet a worker and they will just start spouting out all this work. That is false and you are living a pipe dream! It ain’t gonna happen. They have to get to know you. Meeting old workers out in the real world is not the same as meeting one on the internet, I guarantee that. It’s taken me about {7} years to get comfortable with the internet and how it works. I’m young compared to workers like, Mr. Robert, Mother Winnie, Mother Tolbert, and Ms. Doris to name a few. They don’t have computers nor do they know anything about the internet. Yes they are all still alive, I speak to them often.

The one thing you need to remember is to keep it simple. Get out and meet the people! You can’t understand what real Conjure is unless you get out and meet the ole folks. You’re not going to learn it through the internet. When you do meet them DON'T start asking about Hoodoo! If you do then you want get a word out of them.

Working by The Clock

I was not taught to work by the moon phases, in my family that was considered witchcraft which was a sin and went against God. I was raised in the Pentecostal church, so moon phases didn’t have a place in my life other than when to cut my hair, when to plant or when to remove a wart and such. I don’t mean any disrespect to anyone or how they believe; but since this is my website and my writings I feel like I have the right to speak plain. At a young age I was lucky to meet an old Conjure worker, she explained to me about working by the clock. She told me she didn’t have time to wait for the moon to settle. I have to agree with her.

When I have a job to do I don’t wait on the moon; the work comes out just as good working by the clock. This information is being lost like a lot of the other old ways because folks don’t know about it. When you work by the clock you work to remove something when the hand on the clock is going downward. So if I wanted to do a reversal work I would start that work at around five minutes after midnight. You can start the work at any time after the hour but I like midnight because that is a very powerful time.

 Now if I am going to take a cleansing bath I will start the bath at around twenty after the hour, this gives me ten minutes in the tub before the hand starts moving upward. By the time the hands are moving upward towards the next hour I am dried off and dressing myself with spiritual oil. I dress from toes to heal and upward. This is done to draw things to me. Get the idea? Try this and you will see once you get the hang of it you will never wait for a moon phase again to do your Conjure work.

 I do try to work with the days of the week and the planets; but if I have a job that has to be done and it is not on the right day I will still do the work. I was taught not to let anything stop me from doing my work and I have always lived by that with great success. Sometimes a work might take a while but I just keep hitting it until it is done. Here is a little money vigil trick that you should try it works really well.

 Get a seven day green vigil. At 11:35 am start dressing your vigil and get it ready to light. Say your prayers and do whatever you do to get your vigils ready. Now at 11:45 tap the candle three times and on each tap say “the Lord is my Shepard and I shall not want”. Then light your vigil.

At noon say your petition over your vigil. Then every day at noon until the candle burns out go to your space and say your prayers and your petition. Try this I think you will see a difference in your money work. Check out the link below Candle Burning On The Hour.

Hoodoo Rootwork Love Conjure

Since the beginning of time women have been finding ways to entice the opposite sex. I'm going share with you a couple of tricks that I have not seen on the internet and thats because there are not many Traditional conjure workers on the net. All you ever see or hear about is spiritual oils and a few waters. I'm going to share {2} remidies with you that will help in dealing with your man. Smell has always played a factor in how men react to women.  There are certian smells that draw them.

 In 1935 Revlon came out with a classic scent of spice and floral. This classic is Jean Nate after bath splash; this bath splash is fresh and invigorating. I used this splash for many years, then it became hard to find. Revlon has brought it back and it is as good as ever.  Old school workers know that this bath splash can be used to draw your man closer. It’s something about the smell. If your man seems to be distant from you, get some Jean Nate. After you bath just splash some on. Watch what a change comes over him. I add some to a spray bottle with a little water and spray my bed with it. Get some and try it you can find it at walgreens.

 This one might be a little harder to find but you can find it sometimes during the christmas holidays. This oldie but goodie is called {Sand & Sable} it is put out by Coty. My mama wore this scent, I call it her scent. If you have a man who is tight fisted wear some Sand & Sable when you as him for some cash. I had forgotten all about this one until Ms. Doris remined me. She gave me some and when I sprayed it I smelled my mama. I don't know why or how but this really works.  Enjoy Momma Starr
