The Bible in Conjure: A Two-Headed Book

1 Samuel 10:10-14

New International Version (NIV)

¹⁰ When he and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he joined in their prophesying. ¹¹ When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, “What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”
¹² A man who lived there answered, “And who is their father?” So it became a saying: “Is Saul also among the prophets?” ¹³ After Saul stopped prophesying, he went to the high place.
¹⁴ Now Saul’s uncle asked him and his servant, “Where have you been?”
“Looking for the donkeys,” he said. “But when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel.”

 The Bible is a tricky book. Just like a conjure worker you have to learn how to read between the lines to see what Spirit really is telling you. When you look at this verse it's talking about how the Spirit of God came upon Saul and caused him to prophesy by the Spirit. In this verse we see revelation of the divine gifts and the call to follow them.

The way I look at it is that God will speak a message through other people regardless of how great or small they may look. A person's appearance isn't important but what does matter is the word spoken to you. If I wanted the truth revealed to me I'd pray these verses over the work so that the answer is clear to me. 

Another way to interpret these verses is that God has given you certain gifts that are special to you. Work with those gifts no matter what they be in service of the Highest and you will be led to the high places. They will speak for themselves. Just be quiet and do your job. Don't get stiff in the neck (arrogant).

The verses will mean different things for everybody. If you read one book or chapter alone you'll find that the verses can be prayed over all types of work. This is true of the whole Bible. This is what also makes it confusing sometimes.

So the first thing you need to ask God is "Show me clearly the word." Then open your Bible and read out loud the first three verses. Sometimes the message will be clear as day while at other times it'll be foggy and dense. Sometimes you can't understand what the Bible is saying because you are NOT ready!!! The message is the answer but you have to GROW in order to understand it. At the time you got the message it was meant for you to have but you had to wait and grow so it becomes clear. Honoring Saint Michael

Hi Everyone,

As y'all know or may have forgotten, yesterday (Sept. 29th) was Saint Michael's special day. Don't forget to light your candles, say your prayers, and refresh your protection works. It's time to give Spirit thanks for fighting your battles and getting you through tough times.

I am very grateful to Saint Michael for his powerful fiery wall of protection around me and those I love. Spirit doesn't ask for a lot. If all you got is a candle, a penny, and a glass of water then give that to Spirit. As long as you give from your heart and show God some thanks then you are doing things right.

Thank you God, my Ancestors, and Saint Michael for having my back. Thank you for being on guard. Thank you Spirit for giving me the courage and strength to fight back even when I was overcome with the Spirit of Fear. Thank you Spirit of God for your discerning eyes and wise words. Thank you for the wisdom in allowing me to strike at the right time and say the right words in their proper place. Thank you God for blessing me and allowing me to act accordingly.

Thank you Spirit of God for tearing down those Walls of Jericho to dust and erecting walls of Victory, your Glorious Presence, & that Fiery Wall of Protection. I thank you with all of my heart and soul and give all the glory to your Spirit that magnifies all things with your GREATNESS. Amen.

I want to make this statement because I call the spirit I work with La Madama.

I want to publicly thank my fellow spiritual-workers in the Afro-Cuban traditions for the name "LaMadama". As a traditional American Southern Root-Worker, the "Lady of the House" was a powerful matriarch of African descent who was a reader, mid-wife and powerful spiritual worker and an enduring presence in the spirit family of the southern worker. The names used in the media and racist imagery of this powerful figure is disrespectful and must never be endorsed in any way.

The image of LaMadama, as we all know, comes from the American South. The term "LaMadama" as we all know comes from Cuba. It is with great respect that I call upon the power and spirit of this revered African and African-American spiritual force so loved and respected by American Southern workers for over a century by the name "LaMadama". May we call upon the "Lady of the House"...LaMadama to guide our work and reveal all and any forces that seek to blind our eyes from truth or find our spirits from liberation!

BEEF TONGUE STF UP

 

I wanted to share a work I did but I also wanted to clear up a little misconception about this work. Some folks think when you do a beef tongue to shut someone up all you have to do is fill the tongue and wrap it up; this is absolutely NOT right. I'll explain why. If you are going to shut someones mouth and stop them from bothering you then you need to sew the tongue shut. As in sewing their mouth shut! All old school workers are taught this when they are taught shut up work. I'm not sure where this wrapping thing came from but if you want to shut someones lips and stop them from bothering you then you need to sew those lips closed. Common sense will tell you that.

 

 

In the old days a lot more was added to the tongue than just personal items and hot stuff. I'm not gonna share that with you because I don't want it used on me. I've added pictures so you can get an idea on how this work is done. Enjoy!

I'm sorry I have been out of pocket lately but I plan on blogging at least once a week. I want to share what has bee going on with me so here is some info.
