The Bible in Conjure: A Two-Headed Book

1 Samuel 10:10-14

New International Version (NIV)

¹⁰ When he and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he joined in their prophesying. ¹¹ When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, “What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”
¹² A man who lived there answered, “And who is their father?” So it became a saying: “Is Saul also among the prophets?” ¹³ After Saul stopped prophesying, he went to the high place.
¹⁴ Now Saul’s uncle asked him and his servant, “Where have you been?”
“Looking for the donkeys,” he said. “But when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel.”

 The Bible is a tricky book. Just like a conjure worker you have to learn how to read between the lines to see what Spirit really is telling you. When you look at this verse it's talking about how the Spirit of God came upon Saul and caused him to prophesy by the Spirit. In this verse we see revelation of the divine gifts and the call to follow them.

The way I look at it is that God will speak a message through other people regardless of how great or small they may look. A person's appearance isn't important but what does matter is the word spoken to you. If I wanted the truth revealed to me I'd pray these verses over the work so that the answer is clear to me. 

Another way to interpret these verses is that God has given you certain gifts that are special to you. Work with those gifts no matter what they be in service of the Highest and you will be led to the high places. They will speak for themselves. Just be quiet and do your job. Don't get stiff in the neck (arrogant).

The verses will mean different things for everybody. If you read one book or chapter alone you'll find that the verses can be prayed over all types of work. This is true of the whole Bible. This is what also makes it confusing sometimes.

So the first thing you need to ask God is "Show me clearly the word." Then open your Bible and read out loud the first three verses. Sometimes the message will be clear as day while at other times it'll be foggy and dense. Sometimes you can't understand what the Bible is saying because you are NOT ready!!! The message is the answer but you have to GROW in order to understand it. At the time you got the message it was meant for you to have but you had to wait and grow so it becomes clear. Happy New Year: Let's Start the Year Fresh...

Hey Guys,

I just want to say Happy New Years to all of y'all...I am so happy 2012 has passed. At first I wasn't ready just yet to end the year but I am ready to bring on the new year and claim my blessings.

I'll be frank here and say that 2012 was a hell of a year for me because it brought a lot of changes. I'm sure most of you would agree but now we have to let go of the old so we can bring in the new.

I feel so GOOD and REFRESHED...To put it in better terms I am BLESSED and FORTIFIED for this year!!! Part of the reason I feel this way is because I'm a New Year's baby (yes New Year's is my birthday) but there's more to it. God is bringing in a lot of good change that will benefit everyone.

Now is the time to start your cleansings. It doesn't matter if you are late in the month because anytime is a good time to cut out the mess out of your life and throw it to the West! Cut and clear the past so you can move forward into the future. The whole month of January is good for doing conjure work for a fresh new start. NOW is the time to begin money drawing work, prosperity work, and any "job" where you are looking for growth whether that be love, money, success, you name it.

Plant your seeds with faith and they will GROW!!! Take the time to thank God and your Spirits for all the blessings you received in previous years. This can be hard sometimes but you need to do it so you'll continue to get your blessings. You can start small and build your way up...

If you feel you have nothing to be thankful think again. The fact that you are alive with your HEALTH and able to read this blog post is the greatest gift provided by God which is LIFE. Most of you have a roof over your head, food on the table, lights, and other amenities that are easily taken for granted. These are blessings that should always be remembered.

When you learn to put your attitude into gratitude that is when you'll see your prosperity work rise to the next level. The best way to check if your money drawing work is truly working is to take a good look at your life before, during, and after you started doing work. Look at your situation through these three phases.

If you notice any improvement in your circumstances no matter how big or small then your petitions are being answered. If things remained the same without any change then something is wrong. Maybe one area of your life is thriving while another part is withering. That can happen which is natural but when you don't see any movement in your life then yes something is not right that you're not addressing properly. If the machine is broke as they say then fix it!

This is where people go wrong with resolutions and prayer petitions. Before you grow those seeds that you're planting in the garden you have to clear out old weeds, 'ROOTS', and clear the way so your plant will have room to sprout. If you don't strip away the clutters in your harvest you'll never reap the fruits of your sow. Plain and simple.

Blue Candles for Money

Most people learning hoodoo on the Internet know for prosperity work to use green candles because they symbolize growth. I learned to work this way and it's great but I also learned about blue candles which you don't hear much about on the Internet.

Blue is one of the strongest colors you can use to draw money because when you fix a blue candle for money work it will remove blocks over your finances. You can work with a blue candle or a blue Money House Blessing vigil. It has a Native American warrior on it.

When I petition Black Hawk to remove money blocks I burn the House Blessing vigil inside his pot with my petition, bible verse, and herbs loaded into the vigil. Every time I work with him this way I see an increase in my blessings. Black Hawk will not draw money to you but he'll protect your money. He's also a fighter so when I offer him a blue vigil he uses it to bust up all blocks holding my money in a bind.

Some workers will tell you that you can't work with blue or purple candles to attract money to you but I disagree. Here's why. Blue cleanses your money. Purple gives you power over your finances. If you want to be on top of your finances you have to protect what you got and control your money. Blue and purple candles will help you do just that.

To draw money to you get a blue, white, and purple candle. Ask Spirit to remove blocks over your money with the blue candle, to answer your prayer with the white candle, and to help you control your finances with the purple candle. Write your personal petition in the wax of the white candle and load it. Load the other candles with your petitions and herbs.

Light the candles in a straight line with the blue on one side, the purple on another, and the white candle in the middle. This will help you with your money. Drlovebug

Hoodoo is not an ATR!!!

Let's be real folks. Hoodoo is not an African Diasporic religion. Sure it comes from slavery and our Ancestors passed this knowledge that they brought from Africa but this does not make conjure work a religion.

Some people are trying to make hoodoo into a religion like Santeria, Palo, or Voodoo because of its African roots. The same folks who do this mish mash hoodoo with the ATRs. They use the African origin of conjure work as an excuse but this doesnt make it right.

Another argument some folks make for mish mashing Hoodoo with the ATRs are some of the similarities in the work. Yes some of the works are really similar. This makes sense because of hoodoo's roots in Africa but there are huge differences. Palo, Santeria, and Vodou folks work at the crossroads, burn lamps, and do some of the same stuff as traditional conjure workers but the way and how it's done is different. The ingredients are COMPLETELY different in and off themselves so this tells you how different the works are between Hoodoo and the ATRs.

Then there's the issue of "cross working" Hoodoo and the ATRs. Over the years I have noticed a serious trend where folks either (1) start out in hoodoo then 'step up' to the ATRs because they need something stronger or (2) they've already been initiated and now claim their supposed right as conjure workers.

Let's break these folks down into detail. First of all Hoodoo work ain't no toy. If you feel like your Hoodoo work aint strong enough that you need to be initiated then you need to look at yourself in the mirror. The power is already there in you with your ancestors.

You dont need to buy initiations to gain more power in doing conjure work. I mean no disrespect against the ATRs but the nonsense has got to stop. Going into an ATR will not make you a stronger conjure worker. In most cases it shows a weak worker because of a lack of training in either practice.

Then there are those folks who try to be the jack of all trades. Just because you got initiated in an ATR doesn't mean you are a conjure worker too. Your ceremonies dont give you rights to anything in Hoodoo. You have to earn that just like every other true worker.

I can show more examples but you get the idea. Hoodoo is not an ATR so folks need to stop trying to make one out of it. I dont mean to ruffle feathers but the truth must be spoken. Drlovebug

Drawing the Bloodline of Jesus

In an earlier post I talked about pleading the Blood of Jesus for protection, strength, and deliverance. I am a big believer in covering oneself with the Blood of Christ. It heals, strengthens, and uplifts. Covering yourself does so many things. There are many prayers and different ways you can apply the Holy Blood in your conjure work.

One of the ways you can apply the Blood of Jesus is by drawing his bloodline around what's yours. A bloodline is a prayer where you put the Blood of Jesus around what's yours. This can be your home, property, possessions, and the people closest to you. When you draw a bloodline around something the Devil nor your enemies can cross it. They can't touch the Blood. I like this prayer because you are actively applying the Blood in your life.

When you draw a bloodline you apply the Blood of Jesus physically where "the line must be drawn." Once that line is drawn nothing evil can cross. It works just like Fiery Wall of Protection and Justice work. The bloodline will nullify whatever is against you while Fiery Wall destroys it and Justice consumes your enemies with their own works.

Now to draw a bloodline call on the Holy Trinity and say your opening prayers. I say 3 Our Fathers, 3 Hail Marys, 1 Glory Be then I speak from my heart. What's most important is that you pour your heart out to God. I like to start my work with certain prayers because I've used them since birth and they get me in the right frame of mind for the work.

Walk clockwise around whatever it is you want to protect and say "I draw the bloodline of Jesus Christ over such and such so that the Evil One nor any principalities may approach. With the bloodline of Jesus over such and such anything that is unholy and unwanted is broken. Amen"

This is one way to draw the bloodline. There are many ways you can do this work. To draw the bloodline around your house first walk inside every room and state your prayers in the name of the Father. Then go outside and walk around the home in the name of the Son. Finally draw the bloodline around the edges of your property in the name of the Holy Spirit.

What you are doing is sealing your premises with the bloodline. At the same time you are placing your home under the Holy Trinity. Maybe you have a different way of doing it which is fine. You have to go with your Spirit. I'm only telling y'all what works for me.

Working with Jesus

A lot of hoodoo practitioners today especially online hoodoos are turned off about working with Jesus. These workers have a problem with Christ because of negative experiences they encountered with his followers (Christians).

Because of some ignorant no good Christians these modern day hoodoos don't want to have anything to do with him. They'd rather work with the saints but they'd ignore Jesus in a new york minute. If you do this then you're missing out on some powerful work because Jesus is the hookup to the SOURCE in Hoodoo/Conjure/Rootwork.

Jesus Christ gave the power to the Saints. He is the one the saints turn to when you call on them. This is officially a part of Catholic doctrine and it's a spiritual FACT!!! Remember all the saints are followers of Jesus. They died and became martyrs for Christ. His Anointing was passed on them.

If you ignore Jesus Christ in your conjure work then you are proverbially throwing out the baby with the bathwater. This means you're cutting the power short and what it can do for you.

To work with Jesus you don't need to be Christian or go to church. Just open your heart and ask Jesus to come inside. That's all you have to do. Invite him in and God will take care of the rest.

Jesus Christ is the most powerful conjure worker. There is no limit to what he can do so you should have some sort of relationship with him if you are a true conjure worker.

You can work with a statue or photo of Jesus Christ when you are doing work. If you want to cover your work in Jesus name lay his photo on top of your work and burn white tealights around your work in a triangle setup.

You can petition Jesus for any honorable job but one of his most powerful strengths are cleansing, protection, and healing. You can call on Jesus to heal you and keep your loved ones safe. If you and your family need protection cover yourself with Jesus. Begin your work in a circle setup with a red vigil in the middle. That's some strong conjure there. All you need to make the power work is prayer with faith in yourself and God.
