"Them Bones & Them Cards" NOLA class...

Join Momma Starr in her “Them Bones & Them Cards” Conjure class in New Orleans where Starr, a renowned old style conjure worker, Spiritualist Reverend, Divinely Anointed Prophetess, and Two Head Doctor extraordinaire with 30+ years’ experience, will teach about “Working with Spirit” through divination with the playing cards and throwing the bones. She created a special conjure playing card deck with instruction book that she'll teach all participants to work with in reading the playing cards and listening to your Ancestors. At the folk magic festival you can purchase Starr's card kit and learn how to actually put it to work during this special class.
As a part of enrolling in the course each participant will receive a free complementary booklet written and published by Starr titled “Old Style Conjure: Working with Spirit” that will empower you with secret knowledge and information combined with what you acquire from the class so you can truly be your own reader and spiritual worker.
Much has been said about throwing the bones and reading the playing cards. There’s too much speculation but not enough good honest communication on how to do the work the right way. Starr will set the record straight on how old conjure workers read “them cards” and work “them bones” as part of her theme “Working with Spirit.” She’ll teach all attending HANDS ON conjure work with throwing the bones and working the playing cards to draw victory, how to find the blocks keeping you in a bind, and accomplish total success by working with your Ancestors and listening to Spirit.

As a part of her “Working with Spirit” theme Momma Starr will guide all attendees to reading the cards and throwing the bones for themselves and others using her 30 years of vast knowledge, experience, professional expertise, and HANDS ON in-your-face teachings. Take advantage of the information being presented and learn how to throw them bones and work them cards from a “worker’s worker.” As a sneak peek one of the tricks you may learn with the playing cards and bones is how to work with the power of the Crossroads in your bone and card reading setups to open/close doors. With the Crossroads you can draw blessed conditions and the desires of your heart and remove blocks, kill jinxes, and turn your bad luck into profitable good luck. Are you ready to take your success of Conjure work up a few notches? “Them Bones & Them Cards” class is the solution to your spiritual fix.

What most folks online don’t know is that reading the playing cards and throwing the bones are a hidden work in and of themselves. To Stop an Enemy

If you feel someone is burning candles against you; then you need to get a red stick candle and {3} nails. Using a hammer, nail the {3} nails into the candle; on each nail say” I wish my enemy would go away and leave me alone! Make them leave me alone in the name of the Trinity”.

Set the stick candle on a white plate. Mix a pinch of gun powered with some sugar and sprinkle it around the candle. Some ole folks say you can place burnt salt around the candle. They say the burnt salt will drive them away and take away their luck.

Burn your candle for {10} minutes; when the hand of the clock is going downward on Mondays, while praying your petition. Blow the candle out when you are done. You are blowing your enemy away from you. Once the candle is finished take it through as many crossroads as you can and leave at the one farthest from your home.

Coco Robicheaux

I had the honor of meeting CoCo November the 12th 2011 when he came to our Folk Magic Festival in NOLA and played for us. As you can see from the picture we hit it off. He had me laughing so hard I had to clamp my mouth shut to take the photo. Sometimes we meet someone and it seems like we have known them forever. They just touch our hearts, CoCo stole my heart that day. It was as if we were old friends. I was a little shocked when I noticed that he was wearing my ring, well actually it was his ring but I wear the exact same ring. A silver ring with a Native American Chief. When I commented on it he said "I'm not surprised, I have already been by your table and I spoke with your daughter about your BlackHawk book".

He talked to me about his music, his daughter and son-in-law. He gave me some good advice about my books. He told me to continue to publish my own books and not to ever give anyone control over them. I agreed with him, like him I'm old school "I kind of go down my own road". He was so gifted you could feel the spirit around him as he talked to you. He touched all of our hearts that day and we all feel a lose. He treated us like family and promised to come play for us again next year, but I guess the spirits needed a great Conjure man.

As you can see he was a "Hot Mess" and kept us laughing, he just brought happiness to the festival. As long as this old conjure woman lives I will honor his memory and remember what a great man he was. Check out those pants; only CoCo could look sharp in them. Left to right, Wulfie, Susan, Orion, CoCo, Momma Starr and Auntie Sindy; the five of us are Conjure Crossroads.

This is how we at Conjure Crossroads will always remember him! CoCo and happiness go together.
